Three geographies

Map unit: NPAs (about 458 polygons behind choropleths). SEO unit: named neighborhoods at /n/[slug], curated NPA unions. Overview unit: primary merges at low zoom for city scanning; SEO URLs stay separate.

The map speaks NPA. Google usually speaks marketing names.

Corridors to know

Uptown is the center-city grid (also Center City). South End runs south along the Blue Line from Uptown; it is not far-south Ballantyne. NoDa sits northeast on another Blue Line segment. SouthPark is a retail/office node distinct from Myers Park. University City anchors UNC Charlotte. Steele Creek and Ballantyne define much of the south I-485 arc.
